Empowering Women for a Greener, Peaceful Tomorrow
About us

We envision a secure and sustainable future for all

Women Peace Climate Action Africa (WoPCAA) is dedicated to fostering positive change by empowering women to actively participate in peacebuilding, climate action and justice initiatives. We strive to create inclusive dialogue, reconciliation and community-driven projects that promote peaceful coexistence and environmental sustainability.

Peacebuilding Initiatives

Through inclusive dialogues, mediation, and community development projects, we work to resolve conflicts exacerbated by climate change and promote lasting peace.

Our initiatives prioritize healing, cooperation, and the equitable distribution of resources, ultimately fostering harmonious coexistence.

Climate Resilience Actions

We promote climate resilience by raising awareness and supporting climate adaptation strategies.

Our efforts include educating communities about climate-related conflicts, advocating for climate-resilient policies, and engaging in projects that enhance resilience, such as sustainable agriculture and adaptation initiatives.

Social Justice Advocacy

Through policy engagement and partnerships, we aim to create inclusive societies where justice and equal opportunities prevail. Our commitment extends to ensuring the full participation of women in all our endeavors, promoting a more just and sustainable world.

Come join us

We need to reshape our own perception of how we view ourselves. We have to step up as women and take the lead.
